Tim Java // SOUND (Front of House)
Tim brings a life's worth of music industry experience to MBP. He grew up in the business as a drummer, and like many life-long musicians he began at a very young age. At the age of 16, Tim was already the backbone for the Java Trio; a classic country band that played every venue in Northern Wisconsin for many years. Tim pursued improving his drumming skills by playing with drum and bugle chore marching units and slowly integrated into bands that played nationally. In his later years, Tim has leveraged his knowledge in the music business by integrating his electronics education and experience and today, head's up the band's sound. You will see Tim at every MBP event, fine tuning the band and quietly and patiently managing the controlled chaos!
Craig Cambronne // Lead GUITAR
Craig's incredible, gutsy sound is all self-taught and fueled by countless hours of listening to and jamming with inspirational musicians! As one of the original members of the band, he was instrumental in bringing PONY to life. Craig brings a wealth of experience having played with numerous bands over the years. When Craig hits the stage, you can't help but lean into his captivating playing style, and his guitar tone is one of the cleanest and most satisfying sounds you'll absolutely come to love!
Steve Wilson // BASS Guitar // VOCALS
Why the picture of the fish, you ask? Well, let me tell you, it’s a symbol of Steve’s lifelong dream to become a professional fisherman! And honestly, it's the best snapshot we could find while building our website. But in all seriousness, Steve is the heartbeat and driving force of our band. As an original member of PONY, he was the one who got the ball rolling when Craig reached out to start "a" band! With formal music education under his belt Steve's passion for learning any instrument is truly unmatched. That's why we keep him on Bass and Vocals! In every band, the bass is crucial for keeping the rhythm, so if we mess up, you know who to blame! And let’s not forget, Steve’s greatest musical inspiration comes from his incredibly talented family, who are all musicians and vocalists that share a love for entertainment!
Luke Java // DRUMS // VOCALS
Meet Tim's younger brother, Luke! Music flows through his veins as a proud fourth-generation musician and drummer! Tim ignited his passion for rhythm and creativity when he introduced him to the drums and music reading at just eight years old! As an original member of PONY, Luke was discovered by Steve while they were laying down the infectious beats for their high school band, marching band, Swing Choir, and Pep Band. It was an easy choice to join the team, especially after being blown away by Craig’s incredible lead and rhythm guitar licks!
